Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Experience is essential — and current apprentices are encouraged to apply. If you’ve got a great attitude, enjoy working on vehicles, and like solving problems on the go, you’ll fit right in.

What the role involves

·         Routine vehicle servicing and repair, including oil changes, replacing filters, brakes and other consumables

·         Conducting inspections and diagnosing issues

·         Testing vehicles to make sure they are safe and reliable

·         Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace

·         Working independently and as part of a supportive team

·         Working closely with the service advisor to achieve great customer outcomes

 

What we’re looking for

·         Relevant trade qualification or real-world experience

·         Current car license required

·         A positive attitude and willingness to learn

·         Good communication and customer service skills

·         Ability to work safely and follow procedures

·         Someone who takes pride in their work and represents the business well

·         Fit and Healthy and will need to pass a pre employment medical check

This position is ideally suits to a recently qualified technician or someone in the later stages of their apprenticeship. Experience Technicians also looking for a change are encouraged.
