Key Responsibilities
Installation, testing and commissioning of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems
Configuration and fault finding of:
o PLC and RTU systems
o VSDs and Soft Starters
o Field instrumentation and control devices
Integration and testing of SCADA and telemetry systems
Loop checking, I/O verification and commissioning support
Diagnosing plant and control system faults
Supporting supervisors and project teams to achieve commissioning and handover milestones
Maintaining strong safety leadership and WHS compliance onsite
Completion of commissioning documentation and test records
Preferred Experience
Industrial E&I or control systems background
Experience within Water & Wastewater, Mining, Energy, or Oil & Gas environments
Commissioning and fault-finding experience
Strong understanding of industrial control philosophy
Ability to work autonomously and mentor junior technicians
Well-developed organisational and documentation skills
Strong commitment to WHS and quality outcomes
Preferred Qualifications & Licences
Current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioner Licence
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
EEHA experience (desirable)
Commissioning experience highly regarded
High Risk Work Licence (WP) desirable
Construction Industry White Card
First Aid, CPR / LVR
