Domain Tennis is seeking a motivated, organised, and customer-focused professional to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of Tasmania’s leading tennis facility.
Based onsite in Hobart, this position generally operates between 8:00am and mid-afternoon, providing an excellent work-life balance. Evening or weekend work may be required, however this is very infrequent.
About the Role
This diverse and rewarding position is responsible for a broad range of operational and administrative functions, including:
General administration and office management
Coordination of Centre activities and functions
Providing exceptional customer service to members and visitors
Marketing and communication initiatives
Membership growth and retention
Coordination of Centre activities and functions
Supporting and enhancing the Domain Tennis brand
Providing exceptional customer service to members and visitors
Working closely with a small and dedicated team, you will be a proactive self-starter who enjoys taking initiative, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to the continued success of the Centre.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Creativity and initiative in marketing and member engagement activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, and POS/CRM systems
This position would be ideal for someone seeking a career in sports administration, and experience or knowledge of tennis and/or the sporting industry will be highly regarded.
