About the Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager Transformation, you will play a key role in shaping how Southern Cross Care Tasmania communicates with employees, residents, families, volunteers, partners and the wider community.
From executive communications and change initiatives to marketing campaigns, storytelling and brand stewardship, you'll help ensure every interaction reflects who we are, what we stand for and where we're heading.
You'll work across the organisation, partnering with leaders, project teams and external providers to deliver communication and marketing outcomes that are engaging, professional and aligned with our values.
This is a broad and varied role that combines communications, marketing, engagement, branding and project support. You'll enjoy variety, balancing multiple priorities while working across different business areas and initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead Engagement & Communication Initiatives
Support major organisational projects, BAU and transformation activities through effective communication and engagement activities.
Create Content That Connects
Drive Marketing & Brand Activity
Support Employee Engagement
Develop and coordinate employee engagement initiatives via communication mechanisms that strengthen organisational culture and connection.
Support Organisational Transformation
About You
You're a natural storyteller with exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for creating meaningful engagement and resources.
You bring a blend of creativity, organisation and sound judgement, and you're equally comfortable developing content, managing activities and building strong relationships.
You are a marketing and communications generalist who enjoys working across a broad range of tasks, from strategic communications and employee engagement through to campaign coordination and brand promotion.
Ideally you will have:
Experience in communications, marketing and engagement.
A collaborative and proactive approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver.
Experience within health, aged care, community services or a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
