Matrix is conducting a travel time survey around Launceston Area on either Wed 1st July, or Thurs 2nd July 2026 (final date to be confirmed)

The survey involves staff to drive a given route for hours during AM & PM periods as below. 

• AM Period: 06:15 – 09:30 (3.25hrs)

• PM Period: 14:45 – 18:00 (3.25hrs)

Each person will be given a GPS data recording device to drive the given route back and forth using your own car.

An induction will be conducted on Tue, 30 June 2026 afternoon around 2 PM in Hobart CBD. After the induction you will be required to drive the route assigned to you.

Please respond back to us if you are available for BOTH the AM & PM peaks on the mentioned dates AND the induction. 

You must be available to conduct the full survey. We will confirm the date shortly.

 Key Requirements:

• Reliable car with comprehensive insurance

• Valid Australian Drivers License

• Punctual

• You will be paid at $32.31 per hour plus the $0.98 per kms for the route that you drive on the survey day & trial runs after induction.

• Total pay: 10 hrs (7 hrs of survey + 3 hrs for induction)

• Reliable people will be contacted for future jobs.

• Please respond by 9:00 Monday, 15 June 2026.

• Payment is through Bank transfer, no cash in hand.
