About Making a Difference. Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability Care or Individual Support
Reliable vehicle, current driver's license, and willingness to travel within specified areas. Strong communication skills, courteous, and responsive. Flexibility for various shifts (short/long, all times).
Current experience in community/home care, support work, and complex physical needs. Minimum 6-12 months current experience in community/home care, support work, and complex physical needs. Self-led, responsible, and coachable.
Proficiency in English (other languages a plus). Required documentation: National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector), Current Driver's Licence, Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion, NDIS Worker Screener, First Aid and CPR Certificate, Qualifications.
Current driver's licence and qualifications must be held at time of application, with other documentation to be specified during the interview process. Valid work visa accepted for candidates with appropriate Australian work rights. Essential: Passionate about
Making a Difference! Your Responsibilities: Provide skilled, quality in-home care including:
Personal Care Manual Handling (including transfers, lifting machines) Mealtime assistance
Catheter/Bowel/PEG tube care Companionship Medication Administration
Light Housekeeping Assisting community access and running errands. Complete mandatory paid e-learning and competency programs.
Confidently detect and report concerns to clinical manager. Proactively seek ways to enhance clients' lives.
