Business Development Manager – Sponsorship Events Sales

Brighton | Hybrid (2 days WFH)

£38,000 - £44,000 Base Salary + Double OTE

Recently acquired by a leading international media group, this business produces market‑leading conferences, summits, and networking events focused on the future of Agriculture, Food, Nutrition, Sustainability, and Climate Innovation.

Their events attract senior leaders, investors, multinational corporations, and disruptive startups from around the world.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for selling:

  • Event sponsorship packages
  • Exhibition opportunities
  • Digital media and marketing solutions
  • Strategic partnership opportunities

Across a portfolio of internationally recognised conferences held in locations such as London, Dubai, Singapore, Chicago, San Francisco, and São Paulo.

This is a consultative sales role where you’ll engage directly with senior stakeholders, helping organisations increase their visibility, generate commercial opportunities, and position themselves at the centre of conversations shaping the future of food and agriculture.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Winning sponsorship and exhibition revenue across a portfolio of global events
  • Developing relationships with senior executives and commercial leadersIdentifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Attending industry events and international conferences
  • Working closely with research and production teams to identify commercial opportunities
Who They’re Looking For
  • 2+ years' B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Comfortable engaging senior‑level decision makers
  • Commercially ambitious and motivated by earnings
  • Business Development experience in events, media, sponsorship highly beneficial

  • £38,000 - £44,000 base salary

  • Hybrid working (3 days Brighton office)
