Lead Culture. Drive Change. Build Something That Matters.

At Langford, we don’t just deliver services — we support people to live their lives, their way. Guided by our belief “it’s your life – own it”, we are a purpose-driven NDIS provider making a real difference across Southern Tasmania.

We are now seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead our People & Culture function and help shape the next phase of Langford’s culture, leadership capability and workforce strategy.

The Opportunity

This is a career-defining role for someone who is passionate about building culture, leading through change and developing high-performing teams.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will step into a true leadership role partnering with our Executive team to align people, culture and strategy during an exciting phase of growth.

This is more than an operational HR role. You won’t just “manage HR” — you’ll leave a legacy.

A legacy of stronger leadership, more connected teams and a culture where people thrive and perform at their best.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Shape organisational culture across a diverse, 24/7 workforce of 250+ people

  • Lead meaningful change in a growing, purpose-driven organisation

  • Build leadership capability and uplift performance across all levels

  • Work directly with the CEO and influence strategic direction

  • Be part of a team where what you do genuinely impacts people’s lives every day

What You’ll Do

  • Champion a values-led, high-performing culture where people feel connected and empowered

  • Lead workforce strategy and organisational development through growth and change

  • Coach and develop leaders to build capable, confident and accountable teams

  • Drive engagement, retention and wellbeing across a complex, dispersed workforce

  • Use data and insight to lift performance and continuously improve

  • Provide trusted, practical advice on complex people matters

  • Ensure best-practice, compliant People & Culture operations

About You

You are a people-first leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for culture.

You’ve led through change before and know how to bring people with you. You build trust quickly, influence with credibility, and know how to turn vision into action.

You’re just as comfortable in the detail as you are shaping strategy and you care deeply about creating environments where people and organisations perform at their best.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven senior P&C / HR leadership experience in complex environments (NDIS, health or community services ideal)

  • A track record of driving cultural change and building high-performing teams

  • Deep expertise in employee relations and workforce strategy

  • Strong capability in coaching and influencing leaders

  • Commercial, practical and solutions-focused thinking

  • Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award and employment legislation

  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People with NDIS endorsement, National Police Check and current Driver Licence, or ability to obtain

What We Offer

  • A genuine leadership seat at the table

  • The chance to shape culture, not inherit it

  • A role with purpose, impact and visibility

  • Salary packaging to increase your take-home pay

  • Moonah location with onsite parking
