Venue Manager – Mountain Culture Hobart

We're looking for a Venue Manager to lead our Hobart taproom.

This role is about more than running service. We're looking for someone who can grow the venue, build strong local connections, create memorable experiences and lead a team that genuinely loves what they do.

What you'll do

  • Lead, recruit and develop a high-performing venue team

  • Previous venue management or similar leadership role experience preferred

  • Own the day-to-day operation of the venue

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences every day

  • Drive trade through activations, events and community partnerships

  • Manage labour, stock, costs and venue performance

  • Maintain high standards across service, presentation and compliance

  • Be the face of Mountain Culture in Hobart

Who you are

  • An experienced hospitality leader

  • Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality management experience required

  • A lover of great beer and great hospitality

  • Experience specifically in brewery, taproom or craft beer venues preferred

  • Equal parts thinker and doer

  • Commercially minded and comfortable with budgets and reporting

  • Passionate about developing people and building culture

  • A natural relationship builder within the local community

  • Available to work weekends and evenings when required

  • Australian work rights essential at time of application
