At Asahi Beverages, our safety and wellbeing culture is central to how we operate. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ESW Manager to join our Cascade Brewery team and lead the delivery of environment, safety and wellbeing systems, programs and improvement initiatives across this iconic site.

Your Impact

In this role, you will partner closely with the site leadership team to strengthen safety and wellbeing outcomes, reduce risk and support continuous improvement. You will provide specialist advice, coaching, training and guidance to build capability across the site while ensuring compliance with legislative obligations and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site ESW management systems, programs and critical risk controls
  • Partner with site leaders to strengthen safety and wellbeing culture, manage risk and deliver strategic site initiatives
  • Oversee incident, hazard and regulatory management processes including investigations, corrective actions, reporting and compliance obligations
  • Drive site governance, assurance activities and continuous improvement actions to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness
  • Build capability across the site through coaching, training and stakeholder engagement to improve ESW performance and accountability

About You

You are an experienced safety professional with strong technical knowledge, sound judgement and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and are confident supporting operational teams in a fast-paced site environment.

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EHS, ESW or safety-related role
  • Working knowledge of relevant EHS legislation, Australian Standards and safety management systems
  • Familiarity with AS4801, ISO45001 and/or ISO14001 or equivalent
  • Experience in ICAM or another incident investigation methodology
  • Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and facilitate engaging training
  • Change management and project management capability
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training will be highly regarded
