Title: Practice Leader (Home and Living)
Location: Hobart, Tasmania (multible positions are available across the greater Hobart region)
Employment Type: Permanent/ Full time (76 hours per fortnight)

Responsibilities include:

Lead and develop teams of approximately 20 Disability Support Workers. Building team capability by providing the guidance, coaching and operational oversight that enables our teams to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred services.

Drive high-quality, person-centred services by promoting best practice, supporting client outcomes, and ensuring services are delivered safely and effectively in line with individual goals and support plans.

Oversee service operations and compliance by supporting day-to-day service delivery, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, strengthening practice standards and ensuring services are delivered in line with NDIS requirements, quality standards and organisational policies.
- The role is split across leadership and administrative tasks to support multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses (2-3) and includes rostered direct client support shifts.

Essential Skills:
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams in a service delivery environment
- Strong understanding of person-centred active support, behaviour support and client planning
- Experience in supervising staff, managing performance and building team capability
- Sound knowledge of NDIS requirements, funding principles and regulatory obligations
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to balance operational, administrative and frontline responsibilities
- Certificate IV in Disability or relevant qualification in a similar field or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid, CPR and medication administration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Drivers Licence in the State or Territory of employment
- Right to Work in Australia
