  About the role: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our client’s collaborative Allied Health team, working across both clinic and community settings (Launceston or Hobart).

You will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, while also advocating for participants’ communication needs. The position includes involvement in assistive technology and seating/postural support , working closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored solutions for clients of all ages. Key responsibilities include:

Assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for communication and swallowing difficulties. Developing and implementing mealtime management and communication support plans. Working collaboratively with participants, families, and caregivers to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Providing input into seating, postural support, and assistive technology solutions. Delivering services statewide, including via telehealth where appropriate.

Requirements:  Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology . Membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Speech Pathology (not suitable for new graduates at this time). Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel intrastate as required. Current (or ability to obtain): National Police Check (within 3 months) and

Working with Vulnerable People Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family-centred practices is desirable.
